Add the NEW CMS Product Code
S04 - Lymphedema Compression Treatment Items CMS recently released the final rule regarding the Lymphedema Treatment Act, which outlines the coverage for compression garments and related accessories for patients diagnosed with lymphedema. NEW CMS Product Category Code: S04 -- specifically created for lymphedema compression treatment items -- is billable beginning January 1, 2024.
How Do I Add a Product Category to My Existing BOC Accreditation?
Complete the Additional Product Category Application and email it to the BOC Accreditation Team.
- There is a flat $150 administration fee for the product category additions listed on the form (the list includes S04.)
- Accredited locations do not need to be resurveyed to add this product category.
Contact the BOC Accreditation Team with any questions. Tell them PFA sent you!
