Summary:
A well-established medical supply company is seeking a Certified Orthotist to join their growing team. This role involves traveling to rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and partner facilities throughout Central and South New Jersey to perform patient assessments, take precise measurements, and ensure proper orthotic fit. We are looking for someone patient-focused, professional, and skilled in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site patient evaluations in rehab centers and nursing homes
- Take accurate measurements for Custom Orthotic and Prosthetic devices
- Ensure proper fit, comfort, and function of orthotic and prosthetic
- Collaborate with clinical and facility staff to coordinate patient care
- Document assessments and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and support
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Orthotist (CO/BOC or ABC-certified)
- Valid licensure/certification required for the state of New Jersey
- Ability to travel throughout Central and South NJ
- Strong communication and patient-interaction skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience preferred, but open to strong new graduates
- Knowledge of Orthotic and Prosthetics devices, materials, and fitting techniques
