Teresa Alpert is the Orthotist on Faculty at the University of Colorado, Foot and Ankle Center. Early on in her Orthotist training she realized that there was a need for more Pedorthic education. She attended Ball State after completing her orthotic training at Northwestern.
   Teresa is an industry leader and mentor. Past President of BOC, Educational Chair of NSRA and Board Member of PFA, Teresa has attended numerous speaking engagements and led many education programs.
   Teresa is the current President of PFA and additionally a committee member of the Pedorthist Foot and Ankle Academy.

Jeff Rich is a Board-Certified Pedorthist and the owner of the U.S. Orthotic Center in New York City, which specializes in orthotic manufacturing and shoe modification. He employs a unique orthotic fabrication method that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology and serves professional athletes, including teams from the NBA and the US Olympic team.
   Additionally, he co-founded Masterfit Enterprises, which focuses on orthotic and footwear solutions, and has contributed significantly to the snowsports industry through training programs and product innovations. Rich holds seven US patents including three for orthotic designs.
   Jeff was recently appointed to Vice President of PFA and serves on several committees. He also heads the Pedorthic lab and teaches Pedorthics at Hamad Hospital in Qatar.

Seamus Kennedy is co-owner of Hersco Ortho Labs, New York, New York, along with his younger brother, Cathal.
   Seamus oversees and is a presenter for the pedorthics education program at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) Annual Meeting & Scientific Symposium; he has authored and been interviewed for many articles related to pedorthics and foot and lower-limb biomechanics; he speaks regularly on the manufacturing and fitting of custom shoes and orthotics; he is called upon by OP&P practitioners and physicians to consult or help with unusual cases; and he is a member of The O&P EDGE Editorial Advisory Board.
   Seamus sits on the board of the nonprofit Pedorthic Foundation and is currently working with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, New York, to help develop its new pedorthic program. He is also on the committee of the Pedorthist Foot and Ankle Academy.
   Seamus and his brother have grown Hersco from a staff of two to a staff of 21, expanded into central fabrication, purchased a molded shoe company, developed a line of ankle gauntlets, and become a Richie Brace partner.

Matt Gooch, MS, C. Ped., is the Vice President of Product and Innovation at Superfeet Worldwide. In this capacity he is responsible for all internal research and scientific development/assessment of Superfeet products as well as the management of Superfeet's product line and Global Education Program.
   A Certified Pedorthist since 2009, Mr. Gooch regularly lectures to retailers, clinicians and consumers about topics ranging from lower limb biomechanics to the use and effectiveness of foot orthoses. He received a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Health and Human Performance in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University.

Dr. D’Amico is a Professor and Past Chairman in the Division of Orthopedics at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and the Department of Biomechanics at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University.
   He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics.       Dr. D’Amico organizes and oversees the renowned Richard O. Schuster Annual Biomechanics seminar at the NY College of Podiatric Medicine every November.
   Currently, Dr. D’Amico is in private practice (limited to gait-related disorders) in New York City.

Dr. Samantha Landau, a DPM graduate from NYCPM and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, has a strong background in business administration, biology, and chemistry.
   She completed her residency at NYCPM/Metropolitan and became chief resident before specializing in gait-related disorders through a fellowship. As an assistant professor, she teaches biomechanics, runs Gait Lab sessions, and lectures internationally.
   Dr. Landau serves on the exam committee for the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a published reviewer for biomechanics topics, while also volunteering for events like the Special Olympics and NYC marathon.

Dr. Jay Kleeman is a fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle specialist. He spent the first 20 years of his career in private practice, in Connecticut, and joined the University of Colorado School of Medicine, as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, in December 2020.
   Dr. Kleeman grew up in Connecticut and did his undergraduate training at Dartmouth College. He returned to his home state for medical school at the University of Connecticut. He did an internship and residency, in orthopedic surgery, at the University of Maryland, in Baltimore. He then did his orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship, in Baltimore, with Drs. Mark Myerson and Lew Schon, both past American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society presidents, completed his training in 2000.
   Dr. Kleeman believes that no matter how well-trained or skilled a surgeon is, it is vitally important that each patient be engaged in their own treatment whether it be operative or nonoperative. Even complex concepts should be explained so that the patient understands their disease process and treatment options. Only then can the doctor and patient jointly decide how to move forward with a plan that fits the patient’s needs and lifestyle.

Will has been a practicing physical therapist and certified pedorthist for over 20 years. As the owner of In-Step Biomechanics, custom foot orthotics lab and In-Step Physical Therapy, his practice offers on-site, custom manufacturing and products designed to maximize function, comfort and performance.
   He is the inventor of the BFT 360 barefoot training system, an exercise device that uses “balance pods” to alleviate and prevent plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, shin splints, and tendonitis while improving balance, athletic performance and injury recovery.

Dr. Marissa Jamieson is an Orthopedic foot and ankle specialist. She was first introduced to the field of Orthopedics during college at Rice University in Houston, Texas where she was an All-America cross-country and track runner. Her team physician was a foot and ankle Orthopedic surgeon and inspired her to pursue the career. Dr. Jamieson is still an avid runner and marathoner and is very passionate about taking care of all athletes, and particularly runners.
   After graduating from Rice University with a BA in Kinesiology- Sports Medicine she attended medical school in Dallas, Texas at the prestigious University of Texas-Southwestern. She then completed her residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where she served as Chief resident in her final year of training. After residency she worked for one year as a General Orthopedic surgeon at The Ohio State University doing primarily trauma, foot and ankle, and joint replacement, while her husband finished up his training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
   Dr. Jamieson then completed her fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO under Dr. Thomas Clanton, a former Rice athlete himself, and Dr. Thomas Haytmanek.
   Currently, Dr. Jamieson serves as an Assistant Professor in the department of Orthopedic surgery, Foot and Ankle division, at the University of Colorado.

Kelly Dumpson has extensive retail and wholesale footwear experience including planning, buying, sales, merchandising, design, product development and manufacturing.
   Currently, as the Head of Sales - Wholesale at San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) since June 2021, Kelly leads domestic wholesale sales and collaborates with key retail partners to maximize profitability.
   Kelly served as the Global Product Director at Fitflop from 2015-2019 spending the majority of her time in Asia where she managed the product development and manufacturing teams in factories and was responsible for the manufacturing of over 1000 skus each season. Kelly spent years in shoe factories working alongside Nike, Skechers and other large volume footwear brands.
   Prior to this, Kelly spent 18 years at Kenneth Cole Productions where she held a variety of positions leading up to her last 10 years as GVP of Sales and Merchandising. In this role Kelly spent time in Brazil and Asia based shoe factories.
   Kelly started her career in retail going through Macy’s executive training program and working in stores and the buying office ultimately ending up in footwear.
   Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Retailing and Marketing from Syracuse University.

Dallas Hagman is an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery fellow at the University of Colorado. Born in Louisville and have been a bit of a Louisville lifer prior to this year, completing medical school and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Louisville. Dallas plans to return after his fellowship, in addition, as a foot and ankle surgeon for Norton Hospital.
   When not operating or taking care of patients, Dallas has been involved with the hiking scene around Denver with his hiking partner, and golden retriever, Moose.

Dennis Janisse is President and CEO of National Pedorthic Services, Inc., a network of full-service Pedorthic facilities. In addition to his duties at NPS, Mr. Janisse is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
   Dennis is presently on the Board of Directors of American Board for Certification in orthotics, prosthetics, and Pedorthics and a consultant for Dr. Comfort, subsidiary of DJO Global. He teaches pedorthics courses at Northwestern University Medical School, the Medical College of Wisconsin and at Midwest School of Modern Pedorthics (MSMP).
   He is past President of the Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA) and an honorary member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. He has written extensively on all aspects of Pedorthics, with over 50 publications to his credit and has lectured throughout the United States and the world.

Dr. McGuire is the director of the Leonard Abrams Center for Advanced Wound Healing and a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Podiatric Medicine and Biomechanics at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
    Dr. McGuire earned his DPM degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He is a fellow and founding member of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing and serves as an advisor to the board of the Council for Medical Education and Testing. Dr. McGuire is a licensed Physical Therapist, a licensed Pedorthist, and is Certified in Wound Care by the Council for Medical Education and Testing (CMET). He is also board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine (ACPM), and The Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH)
    After completing his residency in podiatric surgery, Dr. McGuire left 10 years of private practice in Rutland Vermont to become a member of the Temple faculty in 1992. He has over 40 years of experience in podiatric medicine, physical therapy, and wound management. He has published extensively and has participated in several research trials involving the diabetic foot and wound healing. Dr. McGuire has lectured both nationally and internationally and is in great demand as a speaker in the areas of wound healing, diabetic foot management, off-loading, and biomechanics of the at-risk foot. He lives with his wife Nancy in Berwyn, Pa. just outside of Philadelphia.

Robert Meier, CO, has been active in the fields of orthotics, therapeutic exercise and biomechanics since 1978, and has been conducting education programs since 1982. His special interest is in applied closed chain biomechanics and muscle function.
   Robert has developed and taught numerous courses across four continents on gait assessment, rehabilitation and orthotics. He holds six patents applying functional biomechanics to lower extremity and spinal interventions.
