Congress Delays ICD-10 Transition to October 1, 2015

Congress has passed legislation that delays Medicare reimbursement cuts to physicians.  The President signed the bill before the expiration of the existing three month extension to the SGR.  The 24% cut in reimbursement to physicians would have gone into effect April 1.  The legislation (H.R. 4302) also extended the ICD-9 to ICD-10 transition by one year to October 1, 2015.  Click here to view the full summary of H.R. 4302.
