Randy Stevens, C. Ped., BOC Pedorthist, COF
There are many ways to cast a patient for orthotics and custom footwear depending upon the patient's pathology, the desired outcomes and more. This five-hour hands-on course will begin with lectures by some of the pedorthic profession's most experienced practitioners describing intrinsic and extrinsic casting techniques and the conditions they are best suited for. Following the lecture portion, attendees will break into small work groups to create casts appropriate for a given pathology. The session will conclude with a group discussion on lessions learned and best practices.
Note: It is recommended that you register early for the hands-on course as class size is limited to 40 attendees.
