Certified Pedorthist - Temple, TX
You will design, manufacture, fit and modify shoes and related foot appliances as prescribed for the amelioration of painful and/or disabling conditions of the foot and limb.
Requires HS diploma or equivalent. Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthestics and Pedorthics also required. You’ll need one to two years of experience working in a pedorthic facility with direct patient care; five to seven years’ preferred. Must have excellent patient relations skills. Must work with hands in fitting shoes. Will fabricate and modify foot orthoses.
