2009 Work/Study Program
PFA is seeking pedorthic students or first- or second-year credentialed pedorthists to take part in its Work/Study Program for the 2009 Symposium and Exhibition in Grapevine (Dallas), Texas this November.
In its 10th year, PFA’s successful Work/Study Program is structured to give newly certified pedorthists and pedorthic students the opportunity to attend the pedorthic profession's major education event, network with pedorthic professionals, and earn continuing education points!
PFA is seeking eight (8) to ten (10) Work/Study Leaders to help the PFA Staff manage various events and functions associated with the 2009 Symposium. Some, but not all of the duties, include checking name badges, monitoring breakout sessions, taking tickets at specific sessions or events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and general assistance.
Work hours will be from approximately 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. In return, Work/Study Participants receive:
- Complimentary Symposium registration
- Meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- The opportunity to sit in on symposium sessions
- Continuing Education Points.
Please note: Work/Study participants are responsible for their own transportation and hotel costs.
To be considered for the Work/Study Program you must be a PFA Student Member and/or a first- or second-year credentialed pedorthist member, and submit a completed Work/Study application.

If selected, you will be notified no later than Friday, September 11, 2009, which will give you ample time to make your travel arrangements.
